SR9009 is a type of ReV-Erba agonist which is primarily used for endurance and reducing body fat. Commonly mistaken as a selective androgen receptor modulator, or SARM for short, SR9009 is better known by its commercial name, Stenabolic. The principle idea behind Stenabolic is that the compounds it contains help muscles better utilize energy stores throughout the body in order to build lean muscle while burning fat at the same time. Typically, a recommended daily dosage is between 10mg and 30mg, although it must be taken at different intervals throughout the day in order to achieve the best outcome possible.
When a dose of Stenabolic is taken, mitochondria activity is increased. Mitochondria are the parts of human cells that are responsible for producing energy needed for proper function. This subsequent boost in energy allows for a greater level of endurance when exercising. Working out becomes much less strenuous and workout sessions can last for much longer. This increase in metabolic rate also means there is an increased demand for energy, requiring you to use stored fat, even when you’re not exercising.
The half-life of Stenabolic is quite short (about 4 hours), so in order to utilize it properly, it must be taken frequently throughout the day. Typical cycles of the drug last anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks.
Stenabolic can also be paired with other drugs to get maximum results. Compounds such as Cardarine are frequently used in combination with it.
Aside from the ability to work out for longer, Stenabolic has several other benefits like a reduction in inflammation and muscle pain from physical activity and better management of cholesterol.
The side effects of Stenabolic can be difficult to discern as the drug has not been FDA approved. Despite its development in a laboratory environment, drug trials have not been performed to scientifically verify its effectiveness or negative repercussions for taking it. That being said, anecdotal evidence suggests that Stenabolic works quite well and there aren’t very many, if any, side effects; although, staying within use guidelines is highly recommended. As it is not a steroid, the long-term effects of use are likely to not be too severe, but caution should still be exercised.
Although Stenabolic is completely legal, its use is prohibited for those wishing to participate in athletic competitions. There is also a lot less regulation and standardization for Stenabolic than other drugs, so the effectiveness of one supplement can be drastically different from that of another. As such, being highly selective about which vendor you purchase Stenabolic from is extremely important.
